After eighteen years of building a life in the UK, our founder, Princess Chidimma, faced a crossroads that would break most. Leaving behind her parents, her brothers, and the comfort of the familiar, she moved her family across an ocean to Canada — arriving as a permanent resident with no job, two children, but an unshakeable faith.

In the quiet of a new country, standing between the weight of responsibility and the cold of a Canadian winter, Princess realized something profound: softness is not a weakness; it is a hard-won victory.

Soft Life is not laziness. It is peace. It is the decision to rest in elegance. To choose abundance over survival mode.

She also realized she wasn't going to wait for a system that had already let her down. She was going to build her own security—her own income, her own business, her own legacy. Financial freedom. Ownership. A name that couldn't be taken from her.

That legacy started in November 2025

In Canada, a mother of two sat down with a blank page and a question: "What can I build that no one can take from me?"

She asked her 16-year-old daughter: "What should we build together?"

Her daughter drew the first sketch—a simple loungewear set, soft but structured, elegant but comfortable. It was the beginning of something neither of them fully understood yet.

The plan was to launch on her daughter's Sweet 16. But production delays, shipping hiccups, and the reality of building a brand from scratch pushed that dream back.

So they chose a new date.

September 14, 2026—the founder's own birthday. A gift from a mother to herself. A promise that her soft life wouldn't be given—it would be built.

That's what Royal Soft Life™ is. Not a perfect story. A real one. Built by a mother, inspired by her daughter, and launched on a day that belongs to the woman who refused to quit.
